Aircraft Maintenance

Ocean Aviation is very proud to introduce our new aircraft maintenance facility opening on April 1st. From our 10,000 square foot hangar we will be available to provide aircraft scheduled maintenance services. Additionally, our service staff will be available to meet the needs of transient pilots visiting our beautiful resort community.

Our aircraft service manager, Mr. Socrates Pikounis is not only an Aircraft and Powerplant mechanic, but he is a pilot as well. Most recently Socrates worked at Montgomery Airpark for Flight Ltd., which was a Part 135 charter operator. Socrates helped maintain a fleet of thirty (30) aircraft used for flight training and rentals. The aircraft included Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft. His duties included oil changes, 50 hr. inspections, 100 hr. inspections, airframe & powerplant repairs, R&R engines, R&R instruments, compliances with ADs and service bulletins, as well as ramp operations including aircraft fueling, jump starting (APU) and preheating. Prior to that, Socrates also worked at Montgomery Aviation and at Congressional Air.
